  1. Anyone have any idea on USC? I emailed after the info session and they said “mid-February.”
  2. Anyone have any clarity on UCSD? A poster last week said “committee is still deciding” but I know some invitations were posted two weeks ago.
  3. I'd try not to worry. Both of the programs I have interviews at have yet to respond. One of them has automatic replies stating that they will not be back until Monday. Try to keep calm!
  4. Someone said last week that UCSD is "still deciding." Last year they sent out most of their invitations on the 28th (tomorrow). Time will tell....
  5. I can't speak to the programs you applied to but for USC, they specifically state in the interview invitation that choosing an earlier date doesn't serve as an advantage of any kind, it's strictly for scheduling convenience.
  6. Mine still says "Submitted" and I have all green checks next to all action items. Pretty sure "Submitted" vs. "Under review" doesn't really mean much. Will just have to wait and see....
  7. Anyone have info on UCSD? They sent some the other day but that was earlier than previous years and only 2-3 posted.
  8. Do we know if UCSD is done with invitations? Seems odd they sent them late today.
  9. Just want to say for anyone losing hope, hang in there! I struck out last year without a single interview and just received my first ever. You CAN do it! Stay strong!
  10. How so? If you look at last year, the majority of bigger programs sent out invitations the week of or the week after Christmas. This is still somewhat early.

  12. From my contact who is a 4th year at USC when I asked if all invitations had been sent: "Based on previous years, probably not. Our program sends out invitations a bit later than some of the other programs and they will send out acceptance letters in batches."
  13. I don't think it's panic mode yet. I noticed last year they were sent out over two days.
  14. It could be that this year is different but historically, MIT sends them out in the next week or so. Obviously this year is a different ball game all around. I saw that in the email as well but I'm just relaying what I've heard.
