  1. Sorry, I just saw this somehow!! They sent me my acceptance 3 days later. I am an international applicant (US) but they said that for the rotation specifically, they were going to let everyone know by the 7th of Feb.
  2. I got an acceptance to McGill's IPN Rotation program back on Feb 7 but I know the rotation has a different deadline and timeline than the straight thesis track PhD. Which one did you apply for and did you secure a supervisor if you didn't apply for rotation?
  3. I just got my first (and probably only) interview for McGill's rotation Neuro program (it was my top choice so im freaking out with excitement). Anyone have any interview tips? In the email it says "It will be a casual interview format with several standard questions and a chance for you to also question us about the program." What would you say are typically considered "standard questions" ?
  4. I didn't apply to OHSU (wanted to get out of Portland for grad school), but I work in a neuro lab there currently (have worked here awhile now) and my PI takes students and was telling me about OHSU's admissions process in case I wanted to stay working for her as a grad student. OHSU REALLY cares about undergrad chemistry class grades and put a lot of weight on it. Even for the behavioral neuro track. They once ran some stats on their students and found that those with better chem grades performed better in the program or something. I had applied to their postbac program 2 years ago and didn't get in because I had not taken the GRE yet and they didn't like that.... which it isn't even required or necessary for a post baccalaureate internship....Anyway that makes me think they care a lot about GRE even if it is optional now cause of COVID (not sure if that is the case though). Hope this helps anyone who applied there specifically!
