  1. Where have you seen Harris acceptances? I also haven't heard from them but at least based on previous years they seem to usually release PhD decisions a bit later in February. They also typically don't conduct any interviews, so I wouldn't count yourself out just yet based on silence!
  2. Official rejection from Johns Hopkins on Wednesday (Health Policy PhD, Health and Public Policy track). Official Acceptance from George Washington today (Health Policy PhD). I knew the GW acceptance was coming as I have been in discussions with the GWU admissions team about funding for the past few days because I have partial external funding (GI Bill) available and they wanted to make sure their offer would cover the difference.
  3. Congrats!! I haven't seen many previous posts about interviews for this program. Did you interview or was this an admission without an interview?
  4. Congrats on the acceptances!! I also interviewed at GWU but haven't heard anything back yet. Can you elaborate on your offer? How did you hear back? They also spoke of very limited funding for this upcoming year - were you offered funding, or are you still waiting to hear back on funding info?
  5. Wow thanks for sharing, I guess it's nice to know there's still a glimmer of hope!
  6. Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. Like the poster above, the majority of my programs I applied to were in public health schools but I did apply to the Duke and University of Chicago public policy PhD programs. No word from either yet. This seems to be the norm for Chicago as they dont hold interviews, but the silence from Duke likely means I haven't been moved forward in the process. I'm also a current student in the MPP program at GWU. I have great relationships with quite a few of the program directors as well as some of the students in the newest PhD cohort and I'm happy to talk Trachtenberg with anyone who may have applied to the public policy PhD program at GWU.
