Hey! When I’ve looked online at Dal’s timetable, you can see the class sizes for the courses required for the MSW. It looks to be the max is 30 people for in-person classes, but I’m not 100% confident on this either.

Hey CaseyMSW, So, funny enough the day after I sent my email inquiring when I should expect to receive my letter of acceptance / confirmation from the registers office, I received it! So within 24hrs of inquiring, I received my official letter of acceptance via email from the registers office, and my portal updated to accepted as well. I’m attaching the an email I received from Dal when I inquired, I’d recommend you reach out to them personally! I can only upload one photo, but in a prior email they did say explicitly I should expect to receive the letter/ email by March 8th at the *latest*. I hope you hear soon, and hopefully tomorrow being Thursday when they send out their emails!

Oh my, I really feel for you! That’s a terribly long wait with no answer yet. I received a very quick reply via email from the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) at Dal, maybe you could try them? I’m also living in Halifax, so I received their postal letter pretty quickly too. I’m unsure about the delivery company, but likely Canada post I’m thinking? I just posted this haha, but the FGS said everyone should receive a letter via email by March 8th with their admission decisions. Best of luck!!!

Yeah! I did just hear back, and they said I should expect to receive the email by March 8th. I applied to the non-BSW 2 year FT stream! Did you apply for the 1 year then?

Hey! So I received an email this morning from the Faculty of Graduate Studies - super timely on their part! In the email, they informed me that I should expect to receive the admission email by Tuesday, March 8th. Bit more of a wait, but I’m just glad it wasn’t forgotten or missed haha.

Mhhh… thanks for the reply and info! I just emailed them haha, and I’m planning to give them a ring tomorrow not sure what’s the hold up here

Hey! For those who are at looking at Dal and/ or received their snail mail with the preliminary acceptance, have you received the email to follow to confirm the acceptance or has your portal updated yet? I received my letter in the mail on Feb. 11th but I have yet to receive an email or have my portal updated, as it still says “Written Notification to Follow.” Feeling concerned as I’d have like to apply for a scholarship with a quickly approaching due date. I need to confirm my registration in order to apply, so I was hoping to finalize the acceptance and pay that 200 admissions deposit fee soon!

Hey everyone! I’ve really enjoyed reading other’s progress updates through the application process and feeling the support from this community. So many motivated and ambitious future social workers here, each with unique professional / educational experiences. Love to see it! I wanted to chime in and say that I received my acceptance to Dal’s 2-year, non-BSW entry last Friday, Feb. 11th! I also live in Halifax and my last name starts with “C” so it very well could be alphabetical. @greenteaicecream that’s beyond frustrating you haven’t received that darn letter yet, especially living so close to their building. I hope that letter either comes to you soon or maybe you can touch base with the Graduate/ SW department about re-mailing it or inquire when they plan to update the online portal. Best of luck to everyone still waiting for Dal’s letter or to hear from other programs
