    McGill & University of Montreal. Next year planning on applying everywhere offering it in quebec and maybe U of ottawa since I prefer learning in french.

    Question for those who have been rejected last year and admitted this year: what experience would you say made you that much more competitive the second year around? After seeing the reality of the admission process I still have little faith with my remaining application, but also trying to be realistic in that I do want to be better prepared if I need to make a second bout of applications next year. I was planning on doing a minor in cognitive science, since my background is more revolving around linguistics and literature. I work in a hospital with elderly patients and also volunteer with homework help. This summer I plan on working alongside patients presenting aphasia. thank you in advance!

    in a video on their facebook page (Q&A) they said they're aiming for April 1st. However last year it went on after the 1st as well.

    same here for the letter, although I was expecting it since McGill takes very small cohorts. If all else fails (still waiting on my university of Montreal application) I plan on doing a minor in cognitive science next year and doing more volunteer hours in the hopes of applying to more unis next year (notably UQTR, Ulaval, U of M and Ottawa).

    hahaha I'm definitely losing sleep over this so at this point even if I don't get in, at least I will have a defnitive answer and will be better able to plan what's next ?
