Me too! 3rd quadrant I didn't consider my application very strong so I'm just happy I made it on the waitlist as a first time applicant.- 1,373 replies

Officially received my rejection letter from McGill. My GPA is not very competitive so I already basically knew but I'm glad I don't have to think about it anymore.- 1,373 replies

Hey Natalie, I'm in the same boat as you and I'm really sure they do. Currently trying to make grades as good as I can since this is my last chance to have a lot of influence on my GPA!- 1,373 replies

As a student who is currently finishing their degree at the University of Manitoba, I definitely understand strike stress ? I had similar questions for my U of A application and was told that I would not be penalized for any issues the strike caused and I’m sure other universities feel the same way. I’m not entirely sure about how it’ll affect your graduation since our strike was last term but I will say that profs (at least here) we’re very good to students and did everything they could to help everyone finish on time- 1,373 replies

Hi everyone! I hope application season is going well for everyone! I'm a first time applicant and although I have fingers crossed and am hoping I get in this year, I do want to prepare in case that doesn't happen. For those who are applying for the second+ time, what did you do after you found out you didn't get in? What have you been doing over the past year+ to improve your application? Working, additional course work, etc.? I like to be prepared and have no clue what will happen if I don't get in this year.- 1,373 replies

Hi everyone! I'm so excited this thread is open! I'm a first time applicant applying to 4 schools this year: U of A, Western, Dalhousie, and McGill. I'm super anxious about applications this year but feeling confident. Any tips from people who have applied before?- 1,373 replies
