Based on prev. years Rutgers is kind of all over the place when it comes to interviews, so here's hoping for all of us they're still scheduling some!

Hey! This is my second cycle. My research is in digital communication/communities. I'm applying to programs in a couple different fields but I'm (re)applying to UCSD for COMM and Northwestern for MTS (in their school of communication). All my apps are in and now comes the dreaded waiting period...

Nothing to report but I am anxiously awaiting to hear back from Rutgers. Has anyone heard anything (good or bad)?

Anyone else waiting on UCSB? I keep seeing the occasional result trickle in and I'm so confused as to what their process is for letting folks know. Also a first time applicant so take this with a grain of salt, but I say it wouldn't hurt to let them know you're still interested! It might not help much, but I don't think it would hurt. (I'm also waitlisted for a program and it's such a weird feeling. Fingers crossed for us both!)

I got an email directly from the department last week asking me if I wanted to be on the waitlist. I just checked and nothing changed on my portal. I haven't heard anything else from them though so I don't know what their exact process is like for releasing decisions. Sorry I can't be of more help! In response to you and other folks though, so many of us applied to UW Madison!! I'm surprised. Best of luck to you all as we hopefully hear from them soon!
