    Hi!! I have also been waitlisted for an interview. Itā€™s funny because last year I did get an interview with McMaster straight away, so it just goes to show while hard work matters, a lot of it is luck!

    Hi everyone! I applied to Lethbridge for MEd Counselling Psychology, (received a rejection letter in December šŸ˜• ), AthabascaU for Master in Counselling, UOttawa and McMaster for MEd Counselling Psychology and Yorkville for MACP (which I got accepted to). Does anyone know when we should expect to hear back from Athabasca and UOttawa? Good luck to everyone! It's brutal out there.

    Today I emailed Caren the program coordinator to ask her when I should expect to hear a decision, depending on her answer I may also ask her what the status of my application is. Not hopeful and just want an answer so I can mentally move on.

    Nope, I have not heard anything yet! Someone in this forum said they got rejected from UofT last week.

    Iā€™m sorry to hear that. Rejection sucks!! The lack of feedback does not help either. Did they email you or were you just notified there was a change to your application status?

    It sounds like acceptances and waitlists went out... does that mean whoever hasn't heard is likely getting rejected? I am frustrated I have not heard anything at all.. if they are going to reject me just do it sooner than later lol. Idk at this point it seems like they sent out acceptances and wait lists so what else are they waiting for? If anyone has any insight on this would appreciate it!

    Thank you! Those posts were so helpful to read. To summarize, OISE aims to respond to everyone who applied before Nov 15 by the end of April. Also, acceptances, wait lists, and rejections are rolling so if you havenā€™t heard yet thatā€™s good newsā€¦ means there is still a chance! Anyway thatā€™s my interpretation of what I read on the threads. I guess now we just gotta wait patiently and keep ourselves busy so we donā€™t lose our mind šŸ˜‚

    I think I will wait till the end of the week before I reach out to them. I will keep you all updated!     Oh interesting! So it sounds like they have sent out the acceptances and are waiting on some responses before they send out a second round of offers? Did they email you this in response to a question you asked them or was this an unsolicited email?

    How do you have access to ACORN? Are you currently a UofT student or did you get access while creating the application? I donā€™t have access to ACORN and I am worried that I missed something. I was under the impression ACORN is for current student and staff.

    How do you make an account with Acorn? I only have my login information for the application portal. When I worked at UofT, I had a Utorid but I wasnā€™t prompted to make one when applying for the program ā€¦ let me know!

    Update: got rejected from MEd course program at UOttawa. UofT is the last program Iā€™m waiting to hear back from - not feeling very optimistic. Rejections suck. Sending love & good vibes to everyone here. šŸ™šŸ»

    My UOttawa application still says ā€œunder evaluationā€. The longer I wait, the more I feel like the outcome is not going to be good ... curious if anyoneā€™s application still says ā€œUnder Evaluationā€ or if it has changed for them recently? Also, does anyone know by when we are supposed to receive a decision, whether itā€™s rejected, wait-listed or accepted? I imagine thereā€™s a deadline.
