It depends on the field, the university and the department in question. Don't worry yet: there is a good chance decisions in different specializations in the same subject are made separately in your field in your school. For History, for instance, a few acceptances have already been reported for big schools on Gradcafe a couple of weeks ago, yet we are still waiting for final (and most) decisions to be made.

I am very upset by some comments on the Results board. Surely, in this very important time of the year for us all, anxieties, fears and passions are flying high.... but why, oh why, a tiny tiny minority is being so rude there?

Just got into Stanford! Full funding! So so very happy! It is my first funded offer and it has been my top choice all along! For those waiting on Stanford, it seems that decisions have been made yesterday (February, 9th), so news will start rolling soon.
