FUck! Did you see that post about 27k for the first year?! Let's hope there are more offers and that was just a huge fellowship. . .
That's got to include a fellowship. Congrats to those accepted. Anyone want to claim them? I'm curious if the two who were accepted have seen a change on the website. Mine still says "forwarded to receiving institution."

Group yoga sounds great--or group drinking. Who else will be checking their e-mail every five minutes today because of the posted acceptance?
Congrats to the admit!
Or group chocolate binge.
Someone should warn first-time grad school applicants about the dangers of the process: weight gain, alcoholism, insomnia, situational OCD, manic mood swings, etc.

My first was a rejection as well. Brown was a long shot; I just hope the rest don't follow suit.

I'm waiting too. It'll be good to hear...

I applied to Tufts, but haven't heard a peep since early January.

I'm pretty sure they already notified acceptances for the English program. I saw 5 or 6 posts a while ago, and they only have seven slots. I think our only hope now is for the wait-list.

I hope they notify EVERYONE tomorrow. If I'm rejected, I'd like to know that at the same time as others are receiving news!

Thank you so much for getting back to me! Another question: did you just sent the replacement documents alone, or did you include a note explaining why you had sent them?
I'm hoping the school I'd need to mail to isn't too far along, as it has been a month since the deadline. The other school prefers updates via email and because their deadline was just this week, I imagine they aren't too far along for updates at this point.
I included a cover letter that explained what the documents were and that I'd like them to replace others. I don't know if replacing docs is standard procedure or if it reflects negatively on the application at all. In your case, I wouldn't think so.

I sent replacement documents to one of my prospective schools about a month after the application deadline, but at that point, the adcom hadn't begun to review applications. I guess it depends on how far into the process they are.

Yes, they have already made rejections. 150+ applications for 3 spots.
Are you surmising about this? I didn't see many posts. I'm hoping that if we haven't heard, we're either accepted, wait-listed, or receiving offers to their MA program.

I had this issue as well. I emailed a pdf of the unofficial score report to expedite the process, and I had ETS send another copy.
-
Me too. I don't know if I could handle doing this a third freaking time.
Good luck, guys.
Tortola, did you apply to MA programs the first time, or only PhD? I'm assuming you applied to both this year?

I just saw one new rejection posted, but it says they were notified on the 10th, the same day as the others. It's been nearly a week, though! I wonder when we'll see/hear more. CMU is the only one of my schools that seems to have notified any of its applicants.

No, same thing. I quoted from the ApplyTexas site, but UT EID thing says "forwarded to the Graduate Committee for review."
Edit: On another note, you cannot imagine the number of times I've checked to make sure they have my correct e-mail address. Or maybe you can....
