    Yes!!!! I am #2 at a great school.... the suspense is killing me.... I don't have offers anywhere else, so all of my fingers and toes are crossed! GOOD LUCK!

    Thanks for the update. I emailed, but did not get a response. I'm assuming the same for myself (a rejection)! I do wish that they would reject sooner or have an "unofficial" waitlist. The waiting is torture! Here's hoping that the school I'm waitlisted at comes through!!!!

    If ANYONE is considering turning down an offer from Purdue for PhD in literature, I urge you to do so ASAP! I'm currently very high up on the unofficial waiting list!!!!! I'm on the edge of my seat here!!!!!! Thanks:)

    Thanks for the update, KRC. Do you have any idea if they send both acceptances and rejections via post? I know some places only mail the rejections...

    I applied to Emory's PhD program in English, and I've heard nothing! Not even a rejection... Is it safe to assume that I'll be receiving a rejection soon? Congrats to all who made it:)
