Yup.. But all the acceptances will be sent out at the same time right?? Also, does this mean that there is no adcom as such? And any idea whether there will be interviews?

For me it's exactly the opposite.. I'm so scared that I will not get to do all the things you have mentioned.. I have wanted to go study in the US for close to 7 years now but something or the other just kept creeping in. And a fate plays it, this might be my only application season.. I just hope something works out.. I interviewed on jan 18th and haven't heard back anything too..I don't know what to make out of it..But I refuse to treat it as a reject till I see it in black and white.. Fool's hope I guess.. Hang in there..All the best!!!

Thats something that I worry about too.. Most of us go through that stage in which we end up doing (or not doing) something and it comes back to bite us later on.. The hope is that we've also managed to do something thats worth it to cover up these blemishes.. Thats good..I don't have a Plan B as yet..and I don't want to even think about it, I'm that scared..

Thats not too bad isn't it?? .. As long as they're offering something useful, it's a silver lining..

Does anyone know whether Berkeley EPS does interviews or do they just give out admits and rejects?? I do know that they admit around 10 people out of 110 applicants on average..I don't know whether I can survive those odds..

Hey, I understand your frustration..Going through the same.. But don't worry about it, something will work out..Just have to wait for it..Atleast thats what I tell myself, when I find time between refreshing Gradcafe results survey, my email and the application status pages.. This process is so cruel !!! I don't remember the undergrad admissions being so stressful!!! Email is refreshed every 5 min, gradcafe immediately after..

I am applying for PhD programs in the US for Fall 2012 and was looking around for any external scholarships. Most of the ones I came across are only for American students. Do any of you have an idea of scholarships that International students can apply for? Thanks in advance..

I hope not.. But looking at the Results Survey, seems like that.. On the Results Survey, even the rejects are given out during March though.. Fingers crossed..

I recently got a book I had ordered from the US in the mail(I'm an international student and out of country mails are really rare!!) and this was just a few days after an interview I had.. The feeling at that instant is beyond words.. It's not a nice feeling and I dont want that to repeat.. I hate grad school already!!!!

Im on the verge of madness..I just want to get this over with, and hopefully come out smiling..Just one admit please.. All the best to everyone out there..

I would hate such questions!!! I'd much rather deal with the subject related questions. I hope I'm never asked these.. But now that I know that I could be asked these, I gotta go find answers..crap..

Since you guys are relatively new here, maybe you haven't checked the Results Survey (Link at the top of the page).. You can check if any offers have been made for this year in the universities you are interested. You could also check when offers were made during the previous years, to get a ball park date for this year.. All the best!!

Thank you for the reply Waddle!! Met a 'top' professor in my field from WashU yesterday and it didn't go half as bad as I feared.. Explained my work, asked about my application, thanked him for the time and that was it..
