Robinson College. Sadly, it's one of the newest and most modern of the colleges. It's pretty enough, but I'm partial to the old Gothic look. They say college affiliation doesn't matter much for graduate study though.
Congrats on Cambridge! I was accepted to do a PhD there back in December. I'm unlikely to go, but it would be a dream to live there for a few years. Do you have a college assignment?
For those interested, I heard from a professor at Yale who said that the competition this year was particularly brutal. I don't have any hard numbers unfortunately.
I haven't posted much, but I also got into Yale! Amazing. I had an interview a couple of weeks ago. My POI called me out of the blue in the evening and said, "Is this a good time to talk?" Umm, yes, I suppose it is.
Question for Notre Dame interviewees: How did you hear? Was it a personalized email or did it look like a mass email to all finalists? Was it from the DGS or your POI?
