Is northwestern your top choice? Where else did you get admitted, and if you don't mind what's the ranked order of those schools? if you don't want to post those answer publicly pm me... i'm desperate!

It has been a long time since i applied for my visa, and that was pre 9/11. However, from what I remember, in 2000 they recommended doing it about 3 months before. It all depends, in some countries the processing time is about a week, in others it takes them 2 or 3 weeks. so take that into consideration.

I was just wondering if anyone here ever heard from any of the schools where they got waitlisted. I am trying to get an idea of what my chances are. Thanks,

I received an email from the DGS earlier this week asking me if i was still interested. I feel like i am going through the March anxiety all over again. Please please please, if someone got in and is not going there, let them know!

You were right. I got home after work today and saw a letter telling me I've made the waitlist. This sucks.

I got waitlisted at Duke. I received my letter more than two weeks ago. I just heard from Harvard this week and it was a no. still waiting to hear from Chicago and Indiana. Is it normal to have to wait so long???
