Finally got my Columbia rejection!

I have no clue where I want to go yet, especially given my potential waitlist options. It is going to be a long 2 months of pro/con lists and research. I was pretty sad turning down Madison the other day because I absolutely love their program and the town itself.

Received a Berkeley rejection too. So sad about this considering it was my #1 school. Oh well.

Same with Columbia.

This Berkeley thing is weird. Someone said a majority of offers have been made, yet I only remember maybe 1 person claiming an admit on the board. They usually have one of the largest classes, right?

I wish Columbia would send me its rejection quicker!

Oh that'd be quite the awesome call. I had a dream a few weeks ago that James Fearon called and said I was in at Stanford. I seriously am going crazy haha.

I had a dream that one last day of Yale acceptance emails happened and I received one. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come today.

I think places like Harvard and Princeton admit close to the amount that they are budgeted for, unlike a place like Duke or Chicago which according to online stats accepts 46ish people a year and gets a class of 18. Based on the emails with the DGS of Princeton I have had it seems as if a few people have to leave for a person on the waitlist to be called up.

I'm expecting my Berkeley, Yale, and Columbia rejections tomorrow so the cycle is basically over for me. Now I just have to wait for the waitlist. Congrats on all the amazing acceptances today! So much good news

Pretty sure Georgetown is next week, although they only fund 5-6 students a year. Wish I knew that before I applied lol.
