    Northeastern has a deadline on 1/1 but I got an interview invite on 1/10. and i dont think it is unusual to hear back in Feb for social psych (but it might be different for behavioral neuroscience)

    Yea West never replied me as well, but Van Bavel is my POI. My GRE wasn't great either... so yea we are on the same boat

    anyone know when NYU generally sends out interviews?

    my POI at Northeastern encouraged me to do the same thing, and I think you should definitely try to email the POI at least once or twice. One thing I did was asking for copies of most recent journal articles (in press articles) and asked about her current research projects.

    Saw this in the result section. So troll... thought this was kinda funny at first: To the person who is claiming they were told all interview invites from Yale have been extended: get a life. Yale Psych doesn't do interviews, stop trying to get others to accept other offers.

    I think it also depends on when you sent in the applications cause I sent mine in pretty early (sometimes in early-mid december)

    Well I got an official invite through the email the next day after the professor called. I think this is generally the trend (from other acceptance by Northeastern). Good Luck!!

    I just received the interview invite from POI via phone for the Northeastern University Social Psychology program. Back up school but great research program!

    well in the past two years, Michigan always sent notifications around jan 15... im soo nervous!!!!!!

    I keep coming on here to check the Result Survey and my email... If I'm lucky, I will get interviews in mid-Jan, but Michigan has traditionally sent out results in mid Jan.

    I've applied to social neuroscience (NYU, WUSTL, Boston College) hahaha (and I have not heard back)

    anyone know what is the general timeline of admission responses (interviews, visits, acceptance)?? For psych, most people get interviews around mid-Jan to Feb from what I have heard, but I dunno if thats the same for OB
