  1. Heard from Georgia Tech today!
  2. Spring graduation is more traditional than fall graduation. I graduate in May and I've been accepted into a few places so I wouldn't worry about that keeping you out.
  3. For UNC-Chapel Hill the 26K is including healthcare- the base is 23K. For UF 22K is the base and healthcare is also included just not listed in the amount given.
  4. I asked the same question and he said "You know the answer to that question"
  5. Cornell: March 2-4 or March 30-April 1 U Chicago: February 16-18 or March 8-10 U Florida: February 17-19 or March 16-18 UNC Chapel Hill: March 9-12 or March 30 - April 1 Yale (General Chemistry): March 22nd-24th
  6. I'm so relieved and grateful to have received not one but two acceptances this early. I think I'd be very happy attending either school so I'm not at all worried anymore and whatever happens to the other applications will just happen.
  7. Heard back from Chapel Hill just now.
  8. My boyfriend proposed to me on Christmas day, shortly after I finished the last of my apps. He'd actually been planning and budgeting for a ring for months and I barely had a clue it was even coming! We aren't going to start planning until after there's some degree of certainty in where we'll actually be living next year but as stressful as this whole process has been for me it really helps to know he'll be there with me and that gives me so much hope for the future.
  9. Had a dream last night that I woke up to an acceptance email from a school. Then I really woke up and did actually have an email from that school, but it was them letting me know they didn't have transcripts from me yet. Completely expected considering I wasn't able to send the transcripts until yesterday, but yeah. At least it was a happy dream...
  10. How do you do the FAFSA this early? I had a part-time job this year but didn't have one last year. Would that make it too awkward to use last years information? I've submitted all of my applications but several of mine are still waiting on transcripts because my university's transcript ordering system was shut down entirely over the break. I've ordered the ones I hadn't sent yet yesterday and I should still be fine considering these are late January-early February deadlines. A few other schools are still processing my transcripts I think. So 10/10 submitted, but only 3 confirmed to be 100% complete. All LORs and GRE scores are in though, and all transcripts have been sent, so it is just waiting at this point I guess...
