Aww. But there's enough spots for all of us.

I've got it mostly narrowed down to Stanford (also had a good visit there) and Michigan ... about 10 days left to decide.

I realize my reply comes a bit late but I had my visit with the higher ed program on March 23. I was very impressed with the program and Michigan.

It's basically between Stanford and Michigan. At this point, if I get positive news on an assistantship I'm after at Michigan, I'm fairly sure I'd head there. Without the assistantship, I'd still be undecided between the two, in part because they're very different programs. Being the nerd that I am, I have a pro/cons list I'm compiling for both schools and they're neck-and-neck with each other.

Now TC just offered me $15.5k a year. =| Decision-making is becoming difficult.

For those on the waitlists at Columbia and Vanderbilt for the Master's higher ed programs, I should be turning down my seats at those schools in the next couple of days ... and will probably turn down Harvard, too. Hope this frees up a spot for one of y'all.

If anyone has any insights into Stanford or Michigan, it would be great to hear from you, since I'm probably going to end up picking between Michigan's higher ed program and Stanford's POLS program (both Master's-level).

Although I haven't finalized my decision yet, I'm probably going to give up my spot at Harvard later this week. For those of you headed to HGSE, you'll be a great group of people.

Finished up my Michigan visit last week and was very impressed with their higher ed program. Headed out to Stanford's POLS and SUSE this weekend.

Visited the Admissions office today, and they said finaid decisions should be made by the end of next week, and that a finaid award letter will probably go out then or the first week of April.

You need your HUID in your online acceptance letter to create a PIN (which has a bunch of rules for creating it ... basically, just create a good password). In order to activate your PIN, you can either have an activation code sent by postal mail or a good-for-24-hours activation link sent by e-mail. Once activated, your HUID seems to be your username and your PIN is basically just a password.
