Carnage, Who is/are your POI(s) at Wayne State?

Bren2014, This particular study was a field study conducted using an online survey. The first study I did at MSU investigated stigma management of mostly physically disabled individuals. That study was also conducted online, but only available to disabled individuals at the university. If stigma management is a topic you're interested in, I suggest you look into research by Ann Marie Ryan, Erving Goffman, Mikki Hebl, Alice Eagly, Madeliene Heilman, Rebecca Meisenbach, and Edith King (to name a few).

I would say you have a pretty good shot. I've been told by my I/O advisors that most Master's programs care more about work experience than research experience, you have both. Also, if anything, I think your ability to succeed at the Master's level already says a lot. I think most of it will come down to how you framed your personal statement and how strong your resume/cv looks.
