Hello, Has anyone attended a Graduate Open House for the University of the Pacific? If so can you tell me about your experience and is it worth attending if I have a 5hr drive ahead of me? on their website it says they give additional consideration to the applicant who attends so this is why I'm really considering going. But would love to hear from someone who has attended.

As a graduate student, as far as Cal States, you can get State university grant if eligible to pay for most of your tuition but that's pretty much the only grant available. Unfortunately for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year there will only be unsubsidized loans available no more subsidized, which totally suck since interest will not be deferred. But hopefully you qualify for the SUG. (I work at a CSU financial aid office)

What programs accept applications in the Spring? I know CSUF is one, but do you guys know of any others, doesn't have to be in California. Thanks!

I am applying to Cal State LA for Speech Pathology, can anyone give me more specific information on their program? Like what is their focus on research, is it more hospital oriented or school oriented? I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks!
