I would ask because some schools allow you to apply for in-state your second year!

I applied to the GSSA position. I have not heard back but I did hear that we should be hearing something soon. They take the GSSA position into consideration independently of an admissions decision. Have you heard back on acceptance yet? I was told they don't review for this until after the deadline so I'm sure they still have quite of but of info to go through. Hope that helps!

What topics did you write about for the essays, specifically Personal History Statement?? Just curious to see what other ideas people had!

Thanks for the info! I'm hoping they do look at my GRE as I had medical issues while working my way through college and volunteering which impacted my GPA. Berkeley is most definitely my first choice!! I met with one of the professors and just know it's the right fit for me! Good luck to all of you!!! Hopefully we will be classmates this fall :) What are your goals with MAP? I'm curious to see what someone else wants to do at a macro level! I'm excited to hear back!! The closer it gets the harder to wait!!

Does anyone know specifically the admittance rate, or any specific details about admissions to the MAP (Management and Planning) concentration at UC Berkeley? I've read through the forums, and no one has really posted any information on this concentration at UC Berkeley (which of course, is the one I applied for!) Thanks!! :)

I applied to a few schools, but UC Berkeley is my first choice! I'm looking forward to hearing back from them! Does anyone have any additional updates (besides the automated voice message which says to check your e-mail the first and second week of March)? I've been counting down the days since I turned my application in during the beginning of December!! Getting in to Berkeley would be my dream come true and overcoming so many arduous obstacles worth it! Ahh, soo excited to find out!!! :)
