I have my NSERC PDF letter now. Succès! Montréal letters are arrived!
I thought you were out of country and your parents in Ottawa got your PGS letter yesterday, did you apply for PGS from Ottawa and PDF from Montreal!!!!

Do you tink that they deliver twice a day ? It happened to me sometimes !
Well in my case lots of the time the mailman comes around noon to deliver flyers and then a few hours later I get real mail
. I will let you know if I get anything. -

Of all 37 publications, i had 14 journal articles published. 3 to 4 journal articles have been submitted (not included in these 37), 2 books and about 21 conference proceedings.
Regarding the leadership, i am reviewer for several journals and editorial board of two journals. external reviewer for a funding body.
I have applied the Marie Curie pdf (the most prestigious one in europe) and got it, but i still prefer in canada.
WOW why dont you just apply for a faculty position, are you a recent PhD graduate? I cant imagine how you published so many papers in just 4 years of PhD. Hope you get banting.

((Yes, but finding an academic job is very hard and I guess I should search for more funding the year after. I dont think your application is weak, I only had one journal and a few conferences and got CGS3D three years a go.

It depends on the school, my offer is from MIT and the prof is giving me 50K for one year then I guess he has to find more funding for the next year.

Anyways I already have Postdoc offer and NSERC will just make me richer

PGS/CGS applicant. I hope I still have a chance, my journal is published in 2012, and two conferences in 2011, first author.
I am a PDF applicant, I have 4 first author IEEE Trans journals and 1 second author, 13 conference papers, I also have one best paper award. But I guess my chances are low since it seems these days people are generating journals faster than a copy machine

based on how they replied us all I guess they will start mailing letters starting tomorrow and this process will take a week or so since there are many applicants. But for sure all letters are mailed by March 30th.

I just called them and they said 30th of March is when they will mail them. Good luck all.

How come they replied your email! I got a automatic reply yesterday that we will not be replying personal emails since we are busy.

I think that NSERC usually sends CGS and banting results a bit later than regular PGS letters since the number of CGS and banging awards highly depend on the budget released by the government,
