  1. I'm super frustrated, there is no decision and I have two other schools waiting on me----
  2. I had an issue with NYU (Different program) as I am not able to visit until after the 15th-I emailed someone in the department and asked for an extension which they nicely gave. Try to find a real person-I emailed admission first and received a form letter, then I called and the "Admission specialist" was not helpful. Good luck!
  3. I think I'm leaning towards Columbia---but I am visiting both schools in a few weeks and hoping that will sort out everything-I'm still waiting to hear from University of Toronto as well. I am interested in studying education and the conflict of gender and religion (Primarily Islam), with immigrants here North America. I am hoping to continue with a PhD. The whole PhD thing brings it to another level as well: Which school will allow me to build the best connections with professors to continue my education?
  4. I'm interested in this as well---I have been accepted to NYU and Columbia (Both in International Education) and would love to hear opinions on the schools and programs-
  5. My application for OISE (MA of Ed) was due December 1st-more than a month and a half before any of my other programs here in the States. I have had 2 acceptances, one rejection, one no interview and still have not heard from U ot T. It's kind of amazing in a terrible way how long this has been dragged out and I'm starting to feel like I'm in a horror movie called "Grad school: the waiting".
  6. I am desperately waiting to hear from U of T (OISE) which is my only Canadian school out of the six Master's programs I applied to-I finally gave up and emailed the contact person and was told responses wouldn't go out till end of March/early April. I am so over this and am at the point where I might need to turn off my email during spring break just so I can get some peace of mind. I am worried first about getting in, then about funding, then about finding an apartment as an American.
