  1. Nothing from sac state yet... Today "my sac state" shows something different though: "pending department decision" Anything is better than the silly "Not determined at this time" that I have stared at for the last 5+ months! The department was very positive on their communications with me, so hopefully the only snag was the admissions office... (crossing fingers!)
  2. I graduated 10 years ago.. time flies! I have dedicated this time to raising a family. Now that my children are starting school, it's time for me to begin my career. Since my little girls are still very young, I also wanted a part time program.. I applied to CSU - Sacramento for that very reason. Although it's a step down from my ivy league undergraduate, I thought it would be a good way to jump-start my career. I did consider some online alternatives but since I want to pursue a government job, the connections with people at the capitol would be valuable to me. What did you decide? Where did you apply/get accepted?
  3. Has anyone heard from sac state? I check my application every day, still nothing... I wish they'd say something like.. "you'll know by the end of April" or something of the sort Silence keeps me guessing!
  4. I applied in October to California State and the department hasn't even got my paperwork from the admission's office... sigh, how can they be this slow?
  5. Well, I don't know if hearing others are having issues makes me feel better or worse. I applied for the MPPA at CSUS I submitted all my paperwork (in person, all sealed) before the priority deadline.. October 2011. I called in January to find out if I was accepted and they replied -VERY RUDELY- that it was my fault that my application was incomplete. I called previously twice to make sure the application was complete. My reference letters weren't exactly what they expected. How am I supposed to find that out if they don't tell me? Honestly, you ask for a sealed envelope from the sender, don't expect the aplicant to know what it's inside!! Since, I've called just about every week and they still don't get around to reviewing my paperwork at the admissions office so the department can't make any decisions. Such manner of conducting business is totally unaproppiate and has made me hesitate on my interest in Sac State.
