Kind of...the more scholarships and awards you have won in the past, the better your application looks and thus the better your chances are in future scholarship competitions. But it's only one part of a very multi-faceted application.

For all those who go to UWO, apparently results will be available online in your "Student Centre" website within the next 24 hours. The School of Graduate and Post-Doctoral Studies is beginning to load them now. Fingers crossed for all applicants.

Maybe they have some weird order that they are notifying Grad Programs across the country...UBC, UVic, Concordia, Carelton and Dalhousie all seem to know, but maybe they haven't released results to every school yet?

Sounded like the grad departments of UBC, UVic and either UofOtt or CarletonU have received the results...can't say about any of the others. I was going to e-mail my Scholarship Liason Officer here at Western this afternoon.

Yes, through NSERC. The only reason I know anything pertinent to CIHR is my research straddles their boundaries, and one of my colleagues here applied for CIHR CGS and Vanier (he was rejected by Vanier yesterday).

You can ignore that. It's only relevant to those who are applying for anything through CIHR.

Well they aren't there when we log into ResearchNet so I wouldn't trust ResearchNet's assertion very much haha....

They should be e-mailing us the moment that they are up in ResearchNet, whenever that occurs (hopefully soon!). At that point, as soon as you log into your ResearchNet account it will be very obvious where your results are via a link.

Maybe...the original notification date was April 15th, which is a Sunday.

CIHR-Vanier results are available...A colleague in my program received his Vanier rejection this afternoon after receiving an e-mail directing him to Research Net...
