well, this time yesterday people were getting status changes. People found out about being on a reversion list too. This can only most likely mean that we are the rejects if we're still waiting......damn it.

Okay I just called. The message was changed to say that they are still imputing data on reversion lists selections and successful applicants and that complete information would not be available until the end of the month. So for those whose status has not changed, don't count yourself out yet!

Congrats! are you an MA or Phd? and may I ask what school you are attending?

I'm assuming they did a batch update over midnight and the same will happen over midnight until all the results are posted. I don't think any new postings will happen throughout the day. I am interested in anyone who had an unsuccessful status?

For those on the reversion list what does your status say?

are you guys checking the OGS website? my status still says: Application complete and entered into the competition ...is this bad news?

We could very well hear by tomorrow. I think I would be less twitchy if I knew how many doctoral students won last year. SSHRC results are online so at least you can feel it out a bit. With OGS, I have no idea.

Does anyone know how many Doctoral OGS grants are awarded? On the website they say that 2000 OGS are awarded each year. Also, I would be interested to know how many Doctoral students are enrolled in year 1 or 2 in Ontario each year.

Last year they were posted at midnight on the 18th. The OGS website currently says (on or around) April 14th. 8-12 days to go.

Has anyone from York received a confirmaiton email of application? I applied and have not heard yet.

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to send me an example of a winning proposal for SSHRC and or OGS? It doesn't have to be a public post. I would just like to get an idea of what a winning grant looks like. I was unsuccessful with SSHRC this year.

Those chosen to receive an award will be advised by e-mail and by phone later this week. Those who included the optional $8.00 for a written response and a funding program will receive their letter next week. Does anyone know of graduate scholarships I can apply for now during the summer months or that have deadlines over the summer months? Especially those that value community service and humanitarian efforts.
