I was waitlisted on my last hope March 25th. I just found out May 5th that I was accepted with fulll funding! Holy crap! Keep hope alive!

I worked During my MSW, as a relief worker for a community mental halth agency. It was fine. While doing your practicum/internship it can get busy but it's worth it. You finish with the MSW and more experience.

Congratulations! ..let's hope I get a similar outcome, i'm still waiting on a waitlist with no offers.

Did they ask you for a deposit? Did you pay it yet?

Tough situation. I applied to two schools, and have been waitlisted for my only hope since March 25th. The two schools are in the same city and I was waitlisted at the newer, less reputable of the two. I was hoping that the top school would have made offers to those accepted to the school that I'm waitlisted on and I would be made an offer when they declined the offers to the less reputable school. They offered 10 spots 9 of which are full and it's been four weeks today (the time they had to respond at the better school). If I don't hear this week I'm probably screwed. I waited so damn long.... and the app process is a tonne of work. F*ck.

I know some programs gave people an exceptionally long time to respond and you shouldn't really count yourself out until mid may. Even then, if you're on a waitlist, and someone changes their mind, some programs have made offers as late as August. Keep hope alive.

Anyone else still waiting to hear on their last hope?

The Graduate studies office has the phone off the hook. They must still be very busy and behind.

I am still waiting on a waitlist at York, no decision on the website and not indication that the 15th was any deadline for anyone at all in Canada.

Have people received their offers and rejections for this year and made their decisions?

Wait it out. But I sent a not-so-desperate letter stating that the university (I was waitlisted on) was my first choice and I would still be very interested in an offer should a position become available.

Only 59 results posted to day so far...activity is slowing. 2 days before the deadline.

I know York and UofT are moving slowly, if you're on a waitlist you'll have to wait until the 15th or later. Keep hope alive.

I think it just means you have to wait until everyone acepts or rejects before they look at the waitlist. This might be longer than the 15th, but if you're not off by may or in may you're probably waiting for someone to back out last minute. Keep hope alive!

Congrats Michigan! Can you post your info on the results section?

I agree things don't look too good. But if people have not rejected a spot that you are waitlisted for becuase they are on a waitlist for another school, then we all have to wait for the deadlines that force people to act or lose their spot. Not all school are CGS member and don't have to follow the April 15th guideline. So for some programs, if you don't hear by the end of April, you'll be waiting for a spot to come up in august if someone backs out last minute if you haven't accepted anywhere else.

York sent out offers, rejections, and notified waitlist for most programs March 25th. I also heard from UofT March 24th. For those with offers from York, how long did they give you to reply?
