UNT Speech Pathology Applicants

Hello everyone! Has anyone else applied to University of North Texas? My portal has said defer decision on application status since I submitted my application nearly. Does anyone know what that means?

I just checked my portal and saw the same thing! I'm pretty sure it means that they are delaying making a decision on us as they want to wait and see the larger pool of applicants and who accepts their offers of admission. That's just my guess. Let me know if you find out anything else!

Same! I think it just basically means we're in a waiting period now.

Hey! Mine says this too, I believe it just means that UNT's graduate school (Toulouse I think) has deferred their decision to admit us until the speech path program decides if they want us or not. I don't think it has anything to do with our applications to the program. Also, I asked the admissions email account when they would send out decisions, and they told me that they were aiming for early March. Hope this helps.
