Don't know if this helps anyone, but I just declined my offer from UCSB today, so that should open up funding for someone else.

I made it off the waitlist at NYU (THANK GOD) and got full funding with the very generous stipend of 26k!!!! I am BEYOND thrilled!!! Best of luck to everyone!!!

I'm sorry if this is OT, but now that most of you are done with the admission process, what do you think some of the basic GPA or GRE cut off stats are? Thanks.

Discostu, your question might be better addressed to certain schools than to us. While different disciplines will have different requirements as far as the important aspects of an application, that varies from school to school as well. Some have minimum GPA/GREs, some don't - it all depends. You're probably best off contacting the admissions offices of each school you're interested in to find out if they have official cut off points.
