klavierstucke
Hello, In my statement of purpose to which I've already submitted to 9 schools I have forgot to place an "a" before a noun where it is needed. Am I doomed?
pgt2018
youll be fine - they wont even notice unless that threw the entire paragraph off (which I dont see how an "a" can do)
Warelin
I wouldn't worry about it. This is a reason why people recommend not to look at your SOP after you've submitted.
klavierstucke
Thanks for the reassurance. It looks like most of the schools I applied to allowed me to upload an updated version--so I did that, but I suspect in most cases the reader will gloss over this particular error.
