Waiting to hear back from SJSU's Counselor Education Department for Fall 2019

Does anyone know when we'll be hearing back from San Jose State's Counselor Education program? I'm an undergraduate, and I applied for their Master's in Education with a concentration in Counseling and Student Personnel with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential.

I don't.  But, I want to mention that I've been to San Jose State's campus quite a few times and I have to ask, was that your only choice?

Why do you ask?

It was the only school I applied for because it was by far the cheapest option. SJSU had lower tuition than the other schools I was looking at and it's only a few miles away from where my family lives.

Just curious.  I've been to SJSU a number of times and it isn't a great campus.  I admit it is very cheap, but the campus is small, the buildings are old, and, from what I've been told, the feel is similar to that of a community college.  But that doesn't matter, as it is just my observation.  I was just curious if there was something interesting about it, such as a good professor or quality program that drew you.  ?

What a bizarrely and needlessly rude response. Why insult a school that someone else is hoping to attend?

I don't think it was rude.  I was implying that my impression of the school isn't great and was curious if there was more to it than I was giving it credit for.

I did my undergrad there and I loved it. Yes, some of the buildings are really old, but it’s a great school and the community is wonderful. I didn’t stay for grad school because it’s crazy expensive to live in the area if you’re not in tech.
