However, I haven’t received an invitation to interview or any other communication. Guess I’ll just try my best to be patient for the next couple of weeks! Did you receive an email and/or update on your application portal? Yes, I got an email stating a decision had been made on my application and was directed to the application portal. The application page had a new "status update" section with a link to my admission decision. Could be taking them awhile to release decisions, and I'm sure many will depend on their yield. I'll be applying to the 2022 Ed.D. C&I cohort. Stats and experience should make me quite competitive, but you never know with doctoral programs! Just hoping to have some great options to choose from. Already have one great option. The Ed.D. programs to which I have applied/will apply/might apply/have considered are as follows: Vanderbilt - Applied, awaiting decision. W&M - Will apply. UVA - Will apply when cycle opens. UPenn - Will likely apply when cycle opens. Johns Hopkins - Will apply when cycle opens. USC Rossier - Likely won't apply due to inefficient communication (IMO), but a consideration. Fordham - Likely won't apply. Fordham - Likely won't apply. Hi! Quick note on SC. The communication prior to admission is handled by their OPM - 2U. Rossier really is a great program! I’ve had the same issues with other professional programs handled by 2U, Noodle... ? Very frustrating. My research interests include reducing structural stigma surrounding substance use and addiction. Specifically, among health care providers via educational interventions (trainings, continuing education, and professional degree programs). I’ve primarily looked at professional doctorates related to social work, but I’ve also had an eye on EdDs - it’s not uncommon for clinical faculty in my field.. EdD2022 Posted June 14, 2021 Share Posted June 14, 2021 Greetings, It's mid-June, so I figured I'd provide an update regarding some app decisions. Very humbled to report that I have been accepted to William & Mary and Vanderbilt. I waited a while to hear back from Vanderbilt, but the wait was surely worth it. ? The UVA, JHU, and UPenn app cycles are not quite open yet. Once again, I'm super pumped about the Vandy decision and the program there seems to offer everything that I need.
