Case Western MSSA/MSW 2020

Starting this thread for my fellow applicants to Case Western's MSSA/MSW program for the fall of 2020!

Has anyone heard back yet? :)

I heard back almost 2 weeks ago with the financial aid about a week after acceptance. I was pretty disappointed by my scholarship from case. I hoped to be in contention for the full tuition fellowship but I wasn’t even offered half. If my other top choice falls through with aid I will probably call and try to argue

I have heard back. Also disappointed with my scholarship from Case. It would leave me about $70k in loans, not covering any expenses outside tuition. Any luck with arguing the aid @Mrobocop? I spoke with Matt and have not had success increasing my scholarship.

Hi! I was just accepted today. Still waiting to hear on the scholarship, hoping it will be generous!

Not much info. But he did follow up the next day and confirmed my materials were sent to the fellowship committee for review and that all interview requests will be sent out by March 15

I have received 26K as a scholarship amount including 4k field award. It still leaves me with quite a hefty amount to pay. Considering appealing for more. Anyone have any success with appealing?

Hi all!

Applied early to Case in January 2020, heard back and got accepted mid-February. Haven't called to discuss an increase on financial aid yet.

Anyone decide to go to Case and if so, curious to hear your reasons for picking them? I'm currently deciding between a few programs, but Case is one of my top choices.
