Hello! I applied on 26th January and received an acceptance mail on 19th February. If you applied around this time, you should hear soon. Hope this helps, good luck!

Did other people hear something back as well?
ArcMil Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Strange how no one seems to get a rejection from Hertie or maybe only those who get the acceptance post on here. I got my acceptance to MIA and a 35% waiver (applied November, acceptance mid-December). The tuition is still fairly high though. Anyone considered applying to IBEI Barcelona?

When did they inform you about financial aid? I applied for MPP in mid December and got an acceptance on 1 Feb. Still no news on the waiver front tho'. P.S. Haha, I got rejected for the IGYLF scholarship if that counts.

I was told that if you put in your application early (before the Christmas break) that they respond with aid allotments fairly quickly and they certainly did. It came through shortly after the offer. From what I gather, the remaining waivers are likely to come through sometime this week possibly?

Interesting to note if you come to think of it! I too haven't seen anyone anywhere claiming to have been turned down by Hertie ? Anyone considering Willy Brandt SPP?

Yeah, just how nobody here has been rejected by Hertie, nobody here has made it through any of their scholarships either, haha! I applied in mid December for the exact same reason! I thought that everything would get sorted by the first week of February (even after adding the extra week to ten days for Christmas/NY). Yeah, I got an email saying they'll respond this week. Let's see, fingers crossed! Where are you from btw? And where else have you applied?

Rikey Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Hello, I applied for MPP on 29th of January, my LoRs were sent by 7th of Feb, but the admission portal got updated on 18th of Feb. My application is still with the Selection Committe. I have applied for the sustainability scholarship. Anxiously waiting to hear something from the school.
gencaringe Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Hi all, Seeing as I've been stalking this thread for the past three weeks on a daily basis I thought I might as well throw my hat in the ring. I submitted my application for the MPP on January 30th, and received an e-mail on February 3rd to say that my application was complete and passed on to the Selection Committee for evaluation. I applied for the International Law and Human Rights scholarship, having submitted my essay on January 31st. I am also anxiously waiting to hear back regarding the application, scholarship, and tuition waiver. I will update if I hear anything back. All the best.
The_Immigrant_Albatross Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Just to clarify, Hertie takes approximately 4-5 weeks from the time all your LORs are submitted (= application complete = passed to the Selection Committee for evaluation) to respond. So for those who applied in the last week of January, you should hear back this week! All the best! Having said that, the Selection Committee might take a little longer now given the higher than usual number of applications received just before the priority deadline, so do expect some delay. I assume that people who are still waiting should keeping checking their e-mails for any update regarding admissions.
