For those considering/accepting their offers to uOttawa, will you be relocating there to attend the program? Does anyone know if there is an opportunity for distance education or is the program fully in person?

My understanding was that it would be held in person, if you go to the course search tool they’ve already released the schedule for fall 2022 and all courses are listed as in person. That’s just my observation tho, I would check in with the program coordinator to make sure!

SFU waitlist has been activated! I have accepted my offer :') After 7 long years of undergrad, lots of tears and lots of failures- I'm going to be a master of something!!!

For anyone reading this - I got into an MPH program with a cumulative GPA of 2.89, stats grades of C- and B- respectively (2nd and 3rd year stats). But I kept at it- boosted my experience, expanded my network, conveyed my circumstances in my essay, and persevered. I am not a health care professional, nor am I a non-traditional student. But I still did it. 

I know forums like these really can make people feel as if not having a perfect GPA will kill their application. But do NOT underestimate the power of your experiences. Your efforts will pay off one day!

Congrats! Could you share the due day to accept the offer if you don't mind? I'm on the bottom of their waitlist. I have no idea to wait or work in New York. I have two job offers in July, but I really want to study in Canada.

My letter said 14 days from the date of the offer. So my due date would have been May 31st/June 1st (not sure if they meant to count today as well). I was number 1 on the waitlist, so I think it will be moving along as this month progresses! I hope you get a Canadian school offer, all the best!

I just got an acceptance off the waitlist at mcmaster and i am currently on the waitlist at Queen's. For anyone currently waitlisted at queen's have you heard back yet either with an offer or the ranking of the waitlist?

Congratulations!! I also received an email from McMaster this morning to let me know that I have been accepted off the waitlist

Congrats! No i havent recieved the offer letter from the graduate studies office. I have only recieved the email from the MPH program.

 I just declined their offer a few days ago for another school, I hope it opens spots for more students. Med school results are just out like a week ago and people will decline their offers as well. So there are more coming
