Is anyone applying to American Studies programs this cycle? I thought I'd start a thread. 

 

I'm applying to 6 American Studies programs, 3 Ethnic Studies programs, and 2 Gender & Women's Studies programs.

i applied to one american studies program, did you apply to any MAs or only PhDs?

Hi all! I finally caved and made an account lol. Applied to (similar to op) mostly American Studies, one Gender Studies, and one Ethnic Studies program this year.

i did! but from results from previous years i think we'll prob only be hearing back nearer to the end of this month

Berkeley ES decisions should be coming out soon...right? How's everyone managing? Do we have any news?

Hi I remember you too! I have gotten an invitation to interview/admission event to UCI's global studies, haven't heard from any other programs yet!

I didn't apply there this year but last year they did released their decision including rejections around the last week of Jan.

Hi all. I was waitlisted for GW's AmStu PhD program and really hoping I get int! I saw two people posted admits but not sure if there are more

I received a letter of regret from Brown today. 

I have yet to hear from GW, so I guess waitlist is still a possibility of acceptance. Good luck!

For those who applied to Brown, does your portal reflect your decision yet? I applied but have received neither a rejection or acceptance. Not sure what that means or if I should expect a rejection email later today.

the waiting is driving me insane!! i just wish i knew if i was waitlisted or not lmao
