wombatcat87 Posted May 1 Posted May 1 This probably belongs on next cycle's thread, but just in case anyone knows: do you have to choose to apply to only fiction or poetry for JHU's Writing Seminars? The phrasing here seems to suggest that's the case: "Apply online for either the MFA in Fiction or the MFA in Poetry by December 1."

Yes, you'll need to choose one when you start the online application. This is true for all schools. I suppose you could submit two fees / two separate applications for one program, but the writing sample and SoP will need to be very very different for each. That said, you're likely not doing yourself any favors by spreading yourself thin. Focus all your creative energy on one medium. You'll have a better shot. Good luck! glowingbrightly, prufrock_ and wombatcat87 1 2
Allrich90 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Hey Friends, Most of my applications got rejected, and I lost track of what's going on here. As a last Hail Mary, I applied for the MA in Creative Writing at University of East Anglia and got accepted today, start date mid-September 🫠 But I don't want to complain. Does anyone have experience regarding creative writing at this school, institute and accommodation? Best wishes
