anerdformodernism Posted February 17 Posted February 17 i don't think harvard has legit said anything, there was only the one interview post on gc + one on a reddit spreadsheet (i'm not sure if they were the same person as they were listed on different days). i think we'd hear if there was an acceptance lmao so i'm continuing to be delulu about my chances.

beuysclub Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Does anyone have more information about SMU's MA Art History? What is the reputation? It is fully funded, so I am assuming it is competitive. Did anyone else in this thread apply, or just me? I applied to 6 programs but have only heard back from SMU and Williams. Good luck all!
999 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Leaving this here for posterity: I had an interview back in January where my POI asked me to keep them updated about any other interviews, so I emailed a few days later saying I had another one but that their program was my top choice. Then I didn’t hear anything for several days so I completely convinced myself I had been rejected and I couldn’t do anything except think about what a disappointment I must be to everyone. A few weeks later, I found out I had actually been accepted. The only reason my POI hadn’t replied was that some departments simply don’t respond to applicants while decisions are still being made. So please don’t assume the worst: it’s not over until it’s over, and no matter what happens, your worth goes far beyond any single decision!! Jim VK, beuysclub and sugarplumsweetie 3

I've applied as well! Haven't heard back yet, but they did ask me to clarify an item on my transcript like last week so I suppose they're still looking at application materials.
