It's excruciating how long they make us wait! But yes, good luck to us all. I saw on another forum that apparently they have more funding this year, which ostensibly means more offers, so holding onto hope!
misplacedcontent Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I was secretly hoping that agencies would stagger the announcements. Perhaps because SSHRC applicants had to submit their applications five weeks before NSERC applicants, there's a chance for SSHRC to announce awardees before March 31st? We can dream.

In recent communications with NSERC they use "The notifications of results for the Canada Postdoctoral Research Award (CPRA) program will be available on the NSERC Extranet for applicants on February 10, 2026." as their signiture.

Is Extranet same as the online system?

Is Extranet same as the online system? Well it looks like they secretly moved it from 10th to 11th. I hope they don't do this again on the 11th. The Extranet is different from the online system. Hustler Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Hi. I haven't received any email yet. Their automatic reply states Feb 11, but the NSERC officer replied to me stating that they will release the results this week.

But my first choice was US based school and 2nd choice I just listed a Canadian school. They said I must take it in Canadian school and will let me know if award becomes available that can be held abroad. Is this is the case with someone else? they were not supposed to offer me for my first choice? because I explained only the US school in proposed location of tenure. thanks Edited February 12 by Khanturo

From what I remember there is 30% of the awards that are allowed to be held overseas? So anything out of that quota will have to stay in Canada. May I ask when you received the email? Was it an announcement email or did they give you the link to the Extranet?
