Do you think they just haven't gotten to us in the alphabet yet? My name starts with T. . . I expect not to be admitted, but this lingering sparks tiny bits of hope that are hard to suppress Wow, I'm going to be SO much more productive when this process is over. I spend most of my work day here or staring at my email. Good thing I have a supportive boss. . .

But yeah, not hearing from the department at all leaves open that lingering possibility of being wait-listed. And I'm with you. I'd be able to do a whole lot more if I didn't spend so much time just anticipating the mail. Sigh.

It's from my favorite YA lit series when I was kid. . this girl trades places with her twin and poses as a boy to become a knight. Yeah, it's awesome, and I've always liked lionesses.
