Nutella and marshmallow fluff on wheat bread. Or two fried eggs and some cream cheese on wheat bread. Do burgers count as a sandwich too? I loves me a burger soaked in tabasco sauce.

Well...(quotes from wiki):

I always eat mine with chicken, some sort of garlic sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, french fries, all rolled in the pita. It might not sound that amazing, but the taste sure is... Come to think of it, maybe this is the traditional way to eat it, but I wasn't able to find anything comparable at Arab restaurants around NYC (it's probably because I hate lamb and that is the staple meat)

Odd, because the generic "Middle Eastern" places here will do lamb, chicken or beef. No fries, though! :D

Romanian Shawarma. Unlike anything I have ever found in the States (and definitely unlike the traditional shawarma lol).

But, if worst comes to worst, I'll take a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, swiss or american cheese, mayo and mustard (the regular kind not the honey one bleah). I actually like Subway's grilled chicken too, with everything I said before plus cucumbers, pickles and olives. Yum!

Or, the sandwich I've been making over and over for the past two days: grilled roasted turkey breast (you read that right, I like the meat nice and roasty), shredded cheddar cheese, mustard and lettuce, on either a tortilla or a hard roll.

Plus, I love grilled cheese. Only bread and cheese. Yum.

P.S. Whomever said they were confused about all the types of cheese in America: me too! Also, the bread types...

I've only had Ukrainian Shawarma which didn't include french fries...but these shawarma stands or huts where all over the place, you could even get it in the smallest villages. In the city, these were the only food places, besides McDonald's that had lines to get in.

smoked turkey, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese in brown toast. YUM!

OR sometimes I like to swap the turkey with tuna and add some pickles to the sandwich. Also yummy :)

Probably my favorite sandwich is bacon, egg, and (dripping, melty) cheese. For meats, I've never in my life had a better sandwich than the ones from a small mom-and-pop store in my hometown (Ham, salami, lettuce, onions, oil & vinegar, and oregano). Though my favorite late-night snack sandwich is chunky peanut butter and chocolate syrup on toasted white bread... yeah, I know...

Gotta love a philly cheesesteak sandwhich with onions and peppers.

Pat's King of Steaks in South Philly is the original and still the best. One wit cheez whiz an' onions is a religious experience.

After all the commotion, I actually didn't get my favorite Philly from either Pat's NOR Gino's! It was some shack whose name I forget. I ordered cheesesteaks wit' whiz, peppers, and onions at all and the latter topped them all!

I'm terrible at making decisions so any of these are my favorites (depending on my mood)

falafel sandwich; anything from Firehouse Subs; the "Homewrecker" burrito at Moe's; French Dip sandwich; or some sort of panini

Sandwiches are my favorite. I could eat only sandwiches for the rest of forever & be content. I mean you've got breakfast sandwiches, standard lunchtime sandwiches, fancy dinner sandwiches, midnight snack sandwiches, ice cream sandwiches, basically you can't go wrong with a sandwich!

It is now my mission to go there one day. I don't know when, but I will be there at some point.
