Ed_Doc
Good luck, everyone. Don't forget to be clear in your SOP about which faculty member's you'd like to work with and why!
Clou12
Thanks for the tip! I identified three professors I want to work with in my SOP. The SOP is done and already reviewed by others, now I am working on that obstacles statement. All my recommendations are in, transcripts sent...guess it is up to me now! Do you have any other advice tut? What program are you studying at HGSE? Do you enjoy it there? Again thanks for the tip and hopefully you could answer my questions if you have time! HUAY
Hii~ I JUST started looking at grad programs (a little late >< I knoww..) But yeah... I'm not sure what I want to do, but I think for now, I want to work in K-12 schools... not a specific subject.. Although, if anything, I would focus more on reading/English ness..) so I think Im interested in HGSE's Language & Literacy program?.. There are like 3 tracks/strands that they have.. and I was thinking O_O For what I want to do, I would just be on the Generalist track right? ( http://www.gse.harvard.edu/academics/masters/langlit/index.html ) and then I don't need the 3 years that are required for the literacy coach/reading specialist right? +_+ I feel so noob at this grad school thing HAHA"... Nervous. 3.5 months is a long time to wait. Ack ><'' Also applying to a similar program at SUSE, and the Urban Ed Policy PhD at USC. Starting to regret not applying to more schools, but fingers crossed something will come through. Edited December 16, 2011 by hitomimay
