I haven't heard back from them yet either... Remember their applications were due like 12/15 but then they extended it a few days since their application had problems or something? So if the bulk of the schools that were due on 12/1 are just getting their decisions out, then I'm not surprised that they haven't released their decisions yet.... Is what I think ?

I just got my rejection letter from them today (HDP phd).. (My first official letter this round, although my professor at NYU told me I didn't get in there yest)... I knew it was coming since I didn't get invited to the interview although a small bit of me was hoping that it was because I was there for undergrad so they wanted to save money by not having to invite me to campus ??. I guess it's true when they say UCLA doesn't want its own undergrads. ?? at least for meee. But it's fine since there was only one prof there that I sort of matched with... They don't do much with Bilingual ED at UCLA ?

Hi you guysss. I've been a silent reader for a while, but I figured I should be helpful since people hate waiting. I heard last Friday from professor who interviewed me that I got in. I'm in the LLT track. I was a little noob and there was something with my paperwork, so I haven't gotten my official letter of acceptance, but upon clearing that up, I received the information about the recruitment weekend yesterday. I'm inferencing that they've e-mailed about their recruitment weekend already, because in the e-mail, there was a survey they wanted attendees to fill out by today. If anyone else goinggg?

Hii~ I JUST started looking at grad programs (a little late >< I knoww..) But yeah... I'm not sure what I want to do, but I think for now, I want to work in K-12 schools... not a specific subject.. Although, if anything, I would focus more on reading/English ness..) so I think Im interested in HGSE's Language & Literacy program?.. There are like 3 tracks/strands that they have.. and I was thinking O_O For what I want to do, I would just be on the Generalist track right? ( http://www.gse.harvard.edu/academics/masters/langlit/index.html ) and then I don't need the 3 years that are required for the literacy coach/reading specialist right? +_+ I feel so noob at this grad school thing HAHA"...
