Did anyone else hear back from Duke yesterday?

I heard back on the 15th. Also got a letter in the mail asking for $100 to secure my spot... I wonder when we'll hear about scholarships?

I was told we would hear within a week of the 15th if we are awarded a scholarship.

I didn't... was thinking of asking you the same. I hope this is not indicative of my receiving nothing. I haven't worked up the nerve to ask Duke yet. How about yourself?

I didn't get a call either. It was pretty disappointing, but I we will still be eligible for funding the next two rounds (January and March, I think). I have a good friend at Duke now who wasn't awarded full funding until the third round. There is hope yet!

Anyone have info on the MA in Religion? I just submitted my info, but haven't heard of anyone else on here applying.

*edit* I was told they generally offer everyone 50%, but no full funding offers are generally made. I was mostly curious about decision notification, et cetera.

I got an acceptance call for M Div on the 15th, but no I didn't get any funds this first time either. Are you all going to Duke or waiting other offers? I am definitely going.

Well, I have applied to several schools, so it will all come down to funding. Preferably, I will be at either Duke or Princeton, though.

It will come down to funding for me as well (though I am stoked about being accepted to DDS). I'm going to wait to hear back from Marquette and ND before any decisions are made. Here's hoping that we all get full funding in the third round like Ryan's friend... or better yet, the next round!

For what its worth, most people in the MDiv program receive some form of funding from the general grant. I applied at the literal midnight hour for the april deadline in 2009 and received some funding when I was notified in May that I was accepted. Its a great place to be, but it can certainly be expensive.

I'm having the asame probelm, I even emailed the office, but I still have not recieved any information about financial aid.

I called a few weeks ago, and they told me that the second round of scholarships had already been awarded. So, if you didn't get a call already, you will have to wait until April.

I e-mailed them and they said packages will be put together late March. Here's hoping for a call in April!

I'm almost certainly going to attend Duke's MA. That said, I'm curious if any of you need future roommates? If so, maybe shoot me an email? wagnern@bc.edu.

I'm awakening an old thread here, but I'm intending on submitting my application to Duke Divinity by the November 1 deadline here in two weeks . So, I'm curious, RyanD and O_Porcupine, when you said that you got your acceptance calls on December 15 last year, did you all also submit your applications before November 1st? Just trying to get a feel for when Duke gets around to calling those from the November 1 batch.

I know DDS says that it will take up to six weeks for a positive decision, and that seems pretty accurate between the forums and the results boards, but does anyone know if will they let you know earlier if you don't get in? Not that I'm hoping to not get in, but the next 6 weeks is going to be extremely stressful even without this decision hanging over me.

Yes, I submitted my application early (Nov 1); I realize my answer is no longer timely but perhaps not totally irrelevant. Hope to see you out here next year.
