Who else has heard nothing?

With all the responses rolling in, and a very active Decisions, Decisions page, I think we--those of us who have not heard anything from anywhere--should support each other and let each other know that we're not alone. (I hope I'm not alone at least.)

Some of my schools have both rejections and acceptances on the results survey.

The few programs that explicitly told me when to expect a notice said the end of February.

I have applied to all US schools with application deadlines mostly in December.

...and I have heard nothing!

I feel your pain! Although, due to applying to grad school sort of being a last minute decision, I didn't really get my applications out until January, I still was hoping to have heard SOMETHING by now. All I've gotten are E-mails verifying the fact the schools got my applications. I have gotten a few open house invitations, but these seem to be for all applicants, so I'm not sure how I should read into those.

You are not alone! I try to keep telling myself that very thing, but it feels awfully lonely, haha.

All I can say is, I hope these next few weeks fly by and are wrapped up with some good news : )

*raises hand*

Nothing. Though the programs I applied to said that responses don't go out until late Feb/Early March, so there's that. And I haven't seen anything from those programs in the results survey. Just quietly going crazy in my office...!

Heard from my 2nd choice a few weeks back :) got an interview. But I've heard NOTHING from my first choice and it is driving me insane. I check my email and my snail mail every 20 minutes o.O sympathy to all it's not fun.

Is it wrong that I walked out of a meeting tonight at 6:30 saying to myself, "Yup, 4 rejections for me by the end of day tomorrow."

I really think this week a lot of us "heard nothing" people will hear something. I just feel it in the air.

Here's hoping I'm wrong about my predictions...

I haven't heard anything yet either! Probably won't until the end of March/beginning of April. All I want is to hear back from one early....even my last choice! Is that too much to ask?? Blaah! When are you guys expecting to hear by?

same, that's Canada for you. and that means at least two mos of waiting

me neither :( applied to a bunch of schools in the US and in Canada and some of my schools have been notifying people for the past 2-3 weeks and I heard nothing from them :( I'm hoping that it's not a rejection awaiting me when I finally hear back :(

Only heard bad news. But this week, and next week could be coming up Milhouse for me!

Other than that, I have been going nuts over the wait.

bellefast,

I'm sending positive thoughts to everyone in the GC Forums, but you get extra well-wishing because your icon pic makes me UNREASONABLY HAPPY!

I hope that all things Milhouse-friendly come forth for you this week!

I didn't hear anything yet too. Though it's clearly written on the website that results will be in the beginning of March. Clearly for everybody, but not for pikachu. I still wait like crazy since beginning of Feb :( But guys, we are learning to wait :) It's a very good thing.

Spoke with the department secretary in the program I applied to and she said Masters applicants (i.e. ME) get evaluated after PhD applicants (who they're still working on), and the results will come out sometime in March. Regardless, I'm still checking email/website/survey results nonstop. So far only one post on the survey from my program... and it's a waitlisted PhD candidate posted on 2/20....

I wish I knew what "sometime" in March meant... *ripping hair out*
