CafMath Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Judging from the previous posts, I'm assuming the earliest we will hear back is March 31st, and possibly not until the end of April (which would be really inconvenient since most graduate programs would require an answer by then). I've searched their website and couldn't find anything about a response date, but it seems like that is when most external fellowships are announced, as well, so I'm going to do my best to forget about it for another month or two. I'm really hoping the 10% acceptance rate is not entirely accurate ? (maybe it includes incomplete applications?), but considering how much money each fellowship is worth, it seems possible that it could be that low.
Physicsisphysics Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 I'm hoping it's possible we hear back by mid-March!
Eman2 Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Got an email saying they won't be handing out fellowships this year. VERY Lame of them
Eman2 Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Or it said "won't be able to make additional awards this year".. and that its been a rough spring for their sponsoring agencies. Unsure whether that means they awarded some this year already or not.
