belvamarie Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 I def. had all my things in way before 1/15 and I got an e-mail I was in the priority category but my application complete date keeps changing one time it said 1/18, one time it said 2/2 and most recently it says 2/7....I don't know why that is happening.... Mine is the same! I received an email saying my application was complete on Jan 18th. I had checked the online form, too, and everything seemed fine. When I looked at it today, though, it said my application was complete on Feb 7! I called the admissions office to ask about the inconsistencies and all the receptionist could tell me was that I would probably be hearing back soon. Frustrating/confusing to say the least!

Don't fret! I just got a voicemail from the Dean of Admissions saying "He had good news about my application." Hope it's not that it's complete....hahah!

I think BC has a BEAUtiful campus. I love the camus and I love boston. The biggest con about boston is it's expensive to live there (But, I have lived in Michigan for the last 3 yrs so I'm spoiled with a low cost of living...when I think about he damage it will do to my wallet going back east...I get very sad). Otherwise, I think the biggest con of BC itself is its huge price tag!

I'm trying to decide whether BC is a better choice or NYU. :/Â

He didn't have any info on scholarships or any word on my application for the School of Public Health (applied for MSW/MPH concurrent program) but I should get a packet in the mail this week. Woohoo!

kiki123 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Ah damn!! Now I'm really nervous beacuse that's my timeline as well. Â I know how you feel. My application was also marked complete on 2/2, and I haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully soon!
Kate73 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I just sent my letter of intent to accept an offer of admission to BU's online program; although I'm based in Washington, DC, I will definitely visit Boston throughout the program and hope to meet and keep in touch with lots of on-campus students!

Well at least you got some $$ though...BU didn't give me anything -- There are my number 1 choice, but I don't think I'll be going bc it's just too expensive so I might continue to work a couple more years and see if I can't try again down the road.

Oh well, I'm humbled to have been accepted so i should be happy with that.

I have only heard from BU so far and I don't think I'll hear back from my other schools soon enough to accept their offer. It's exciting to get in, though! Congrats!

It is definitely one of my top choices, but I need to see about funding and decisions from other programs I'm excited about before feeling totally confident in a decision. Ahhh!
