pietiek Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Does anyone know about the review process at University of Toronto? It looks pretty silent yet. Any clues when the results could start coming out?
compiler_guy Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Me too. However, I do know that one of my references from my LORs was asked some question regarding my application around 3 weeks ago.
TheInfelicitousDandy Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I got an acceptance yesterday.
compiler_guy Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I got an acceptance yesterday. @TheInfelicitousDandy , what is your area of research? Did you admit offer include funding?
TheInfelicitousDandy Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 NLP, ya all UofT stuff is funded other than the applied masters I do believe. When I interviewed he said that acceptances and rejections should be out by this week, and if I didn't hear anything it would probability have meant that I was on a wait list. I don't know if that was just for the NLP group or not though.
csyrez Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 @TheInfelicitousDandy, also did the status of your app at https://apply.sgs.utoronto.ca/ change? Mine is still "Under Review" and I didn't hear back yet.
BeginnerAmongBeginners Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Another inquiry: To my knowledge, applying for Masters in Computer Science at the University of Toronto does not require a physical transcript initially. After someone has reviewed your application and has deemed it be good enough, they will ask for a physical transcript. Please correct me if I am wrong about the previous statement. If an applicant has not received a request for a physical transcript nor any interview as of this date, does this mean that the applicant has been rejected?
