Also Dr. Kuhnert said he is not taking a student this year.

Dr. Clark has also already selected her student. She just let me know a few hours ago via email. Just an update!

Did anyone go to BG's recruitment weekend?  If so, how was it?  And did you get a feel for if they might be making more offers?

I've got the same question  :)

Got a call from my POI at Rice University on Friday, but I was unable to get back with her that day.  She said she wanted to ask me about my "plans for study in the coming year."  Not sure if this will be an interview or what.  I suppose I will find out more when I speak with her.  Has anyone else heard from Rice?

Haven't heard back from them yet! How did it go (if you talked to her by now of course? Do you mind telling me who your POI is?

Hey everyone! So I thought I'd share my schools:

UGA - My POI has selected her student, but they haven't accepted yet (crossing my fingers for this!)

Akron - Rejected

George Mason - Rejected

Old Dominion - Going to interview day this weekend

Portland State - Rejected

Colorado State - I was told decisions would be made soon

Oklahoma State - Nothing

Virginia Tech - Nothing

DePaul - Nothing

Did you email George Mason before your rejection? The results page shows that some people found out that way and I've been hesitant to email then as well. If you emailed a POI, could you let me know who they are? Thanks!

ohh wow, she called you? Did she call you to let you know she wants you to work with her?

I was invited to the interview day last year and decided to take a job opportunity to strengthen my application, I emailed her letting her know I applied again and was still interested in working with her so she called me to chat and invited me to the interview day though they aren't sure when it will be exactly yet. Probably March 15th. Dr. Sheets should be sending out official emails about it soon.

I emailed Dr. Dalal and that's how I found out about the rejection. The next day I got the generic rejection email.

Yes I did. I emailed Dr. King, who did not respond to me but forwarded the email to the program director, who then let me know I had not made the shortlist.

Waitlisted at UMSL yesterday. FIT also sent news that partial tuition remission would be given, but they are still working on the budget, so I don't know what the exact amount is as of yet. I also can't wait to hear ODU's offer... Their funding is apparently outrageously good.

I'm still banking on SLU, UGA, Auburn, or one of the spots opening at UCF though. Let me know if anyone's not planning on taking their UCF offer! :)

Did either of you apply to the Master's program as well? Thanks.

Colorado State rejection email....ouch

Sorry to hear that.  But, hey, looks like you've got plenty of offers to choose from.

I applied to Colorado State but did not receive a rejection yet, even though I see that several people got notified today.     I read on the Results board that someone who didn't even apply got a rejection email from there.  Maybe they sent mine to that person.

I got waitlisted at UMSL as well. I've received an offer from UCF and I plan to accept most likely. If you don't end up getting into UCF, sorry if I'm the one responsible!

Anyone heard from Auburn or Texas A&M yet? I see there is a rejection from A&M, anyone get any positive news yet??

With my rejection, I was asked if I wanted to apply to the master's program, and I said yes.

Just got off the phone with Dr. Fan at Auburn. He will not be taking any students this year because of funding restraints but Dr. Michel and Dr. Svyantek will each be taking one new student.

Hey guys!

I'm glad I found this forum. It's good to know I'm not the only one out here. I've applied to:

University of Tulsa - rejected from PhD program but was offered a spot in the Masters program

University of South Florida - rejected

University of Central Florida - rejected

University of Missouri St Louis - no news

Saint Louis University - no news

Colorado State University - no news

So I've been hearing that people are getting acceptances and rejections from CSU and UMSL but I haven't heard anything back from them. I'm not sure if I should contact them or just wait? What do you guys think? :/

Hello, I also got rejected at UCF, admitted for the Masters at the University of Tulsa and I am currently waiting to hear back on my status at UMSL. I have not heard of anyone being accepted at UMSL yet (perhaps someone can correct me if I am wrong?), but I have seen multiple people say they are wait listed there. I actually emailed UMSL a few hours ago to see if they could update me on if I am still being considered or if they have chose to go in another direction. I will send you a private message if I hear anything back. I wish you the best of luck with the process, try to stay positive, no matter what you have an offer, I am sure others will come:)!
