Worried a bit :( Should I contact my POI?

I am waiting for my PhD decisions from UT-Austin, UM-TC, UM CP in Aerospace and Stanford, Cornell, UIUC, Northwestern and Brown in Mechanical.

 

Has anyone been informed about their decisions to these universities? I am getting nervous Shall I contact my POIs or wait?

Which program? You should check the results page. If others from the same program and universities you applied to have heard, go ahead and contact them. If not, wait.

 

Generally I'd say if you are in a discipline that conducts interviews you may have reason to worry, otherwise it will (unfortunately) probably be another 2-4 weeks before you hear anything.

I think you should relax... how can you call your POI if you don't officially have one yet?
